Kottar & knytt, Kinnareds förskola, Hylte kommun, installed 2024
Pre-school canteen. Room with large windows, high ceilings, linden flower green floors and bright yellow doorframes. A bright space encouraging the usage of colors. Guiding words movement, fantasy, joy, playfulness and the same but yet different. The name of the installation is a pun: both ”kottar” and ”knytt” are words used for children. All surfaces are 3D processed by hand. The most tactile objects are hung low over a bench and are easy to reach for the children.

School entrance. Space with yellow brick wall, a decoration consisting of discreet, semitransparent children’s hands in molded glass and a bluish green mosaic. Guiding words hands, friendship, joy, movement, cooperation and democracy. Once motif and colors were set the reference group asked for a bright red heart.
